VITAMAR Freizeit- und Erlebnisbad

VITAMAR is an indoor leisure and adventure pool (Freizeit- und Erlebnisbad) in Bad Lauterberg im Harz, Lower Saxony, Germany. The water area centers on a wave pool (Wellenbecken) heated to 28.5°C, with waves the operator describes as over 1 metre high and calls the largest wave pool in the Harz; wave sessions run several times a day on a fixed schedule. Alongside it is an adventure pool (Erlebnisbecken) at 29.5°C, a wild-water channel, whirlpools at 33.0°C, and a children's water garden (Wassergarten) at 33.0°C with play features such as a turtle with a hand pump, a mushroom fountain and a dolphin slide. A 100-metre enclosed slide called the Black-Hole-Rutsche has a slide-time display and light effects, and a wide-water slide (Mega-Breitwasserrutsche) is also offered. A separate sauna area, open daily, combines a Finnish sauna at 80°C, a Sanarium at 60°C with colour-light therapy, and a brine steam bath (Sole-Dampfbad) at 50°C, with infusions roughly hourly from mid-morning; a women-only sauna evening runs once a month. A restaurant, a sauna bistro and a wet-area bistro serve food on site. Tickets are sold separately for the pool and for pool-plus-sauna, with early-morning swimming on weekends.
