Bodetal Therme Thale

Bodetal Therme is an indoor-outdoor bathing and sauna complex in Thale, at the foot of the Bodetal gorge in the Harz mountains (Sachsen-Anhalt). The indoor hall centers on the Rosstrappenbecken pool with water loungers and massage jets, alongside a separate Licht- und Klangbecken (light-and-sound pool) with underwater music and scenic lighting at 34°C water temperature, and a children's pool called Hexenpfütze with water play features. Outdoors, an Außenwarmbecken (heated outdoor pool) with underwater loungers stays open all year, in a garden with a terrace, lawn and barbecue area facing the gorge. The adjoining Saunenwelt groups cabins named after the local landscape: the Köhlersauna and the hotter Hubertus-Sauna (up to 90°C), the milder Kaminsauna and the Blocksberg bio/family sauna, the panoramic Hexenblick-Sauna, a caldarium and a sudatorium steam bath, an outdoor sauna garden, a 12°C Kneipp course called Schurre-Fließ, and relaxation rooms. On site there is also therme dining and a separate Physiozentrum offering physiotherapy by appointment. Entry is sold as 3-hour or day tickets, with combined therme-plus-sauna tariffs, family rates and club/VIP membership cards.
