Therme Obernsees

Therme Obernsees is a thermal bathing complex in Mistelgau, Bavaria, drawing thermal water directly from its own Obernsees spring, used in all indoor and outdoor pools. The indoor bathing area (Badewelt) has an adventure pool with massage jets and waterfalls at 33°C, a meditation pool at 33°C (no children under 14), and a swimming and activity pool at 28-30°C, plus a 90-metre tube slide and the newly opened Thermelino children's water world with slides and a children's pool at 33°C. Outdoors there is a 25-metre swimming and activity pool, 15 metres of which is open-air, plus outdoor pools at 34-35°C with counter-current jets and massage jets, and a new 258-square-metre outdoor pool area with lounger seating. The Saunaparadies offers a Finnish sauna at 95°C, a Franconian beer-and-indulgence sauna, a Kelo log-cabin sauna, a stone sauna and a fire sauna all at 95°C, a herbal sanarium at 55°C, an aroma steam bath at 45°C, a Jura stone bath at 50°C, a tepidarium at 39°C, an outdoor sauna pool at 21°C and a bubble pool at 36°C, plus a salt-stone room and a Kneipp canyon. An ongoing modernisation only concerns the entrance area, due in spring 2026; all bathing and sauna areas remain fully open.
