Freizeitbad Atlantis

Freizeitbad Atlantis is a municipal leisure pool at Herzogenaurach in Bavaria, with an attached sauna area. The water is held between 30 and 34 °C.

Pools and slides

The bath has a wave pool, a sports pool, heated outdoor pools, a baby area and a water play park, with a slide complex of its own. According to the venue the water is used for skin complaints.

Sauna

The sauna area holds several cabins, a steam bath and a whirlpool, and massages are booked on site. A sauna ticket includes the leisure pool.

Programme

Water gymnastics is free and runs Tuesday to Friday at 10:30, outside holidays and school breaks. On Tuesday afternoons, from 12:00 to 16:00, guests of 60 and over pay 10.00 EUR for four hours in the pool or 15.00 EUR with the sauna, with water gymnastics at 14:00 and 16:00 and a coffee voucher. Wednesday evenings from 17:00 are a sauna grill evening. Anyone visiting on their birthday enters free on proof of identity.

Visiting

The leisure pool opens Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 22:00; the sauna runs daily from 10:00 to 23:00. An adult pays 6.00 EUR for one hour, 11.00 EUR for two, 13.50 EUR for three, 16.00 EUR for four and 18.50 EUR for a day; children and reduced tickets are 4.00 to 15.00 EUR over the same durations, and under-fives pay a flat 4.00 EUR. The sauna alone is 16.00 EUR for two hours up to 23.50 EUR for a day, with an evening ticket from 20:30 at 14.50 EUR, or 5.00 EUR added to a pool ticket. A 1.00 EUR surcharge applies at weekends, on holidays and in the Bavarian school breaks. The bath is at Würzburger Straße 35 and pays cashless by chip coin.
