Freizeitbad Atlantis is a municipal leisure pool at Herzogenaurach in Bavaria, with an attached sauna area. The bath counts 1,200 m² of water surface, and a Saunaparadies of the same 1,200 m². Indoor water is held between 30 and 34 °C.
Pools
The bath is built around a wave pool and a 25-metre sports pool, with a heated outdoor pool at 34 °C fitted with bubbling loungers and their own massage jets, open all year. The Wasserspielpark is a 200 m² water landscape at 30 °C, aimed at six- to fourteen-year-olds, with slides, climbing elements and interactive water features; the Kinderabenteuerland is a pirate-themed tropical pool at about 34 °C, with a water cannon, meant for younger children with a parent. A separate baby area is set aside for paddling.
Slides
The Rutschenwelt gathers what the venue calls a variety of slides, among them the Turbo-Rutsche, the Black Hole and the Crazy River tyre slide. The venue does not publish their lengths.
Sauna
The Saunaparadies holds several cabins, a steam bath and a whirlpool, with infusions run hourly and massages and wellness treatments booked on site. There is a sauna bistro, and a sauna ticket includes the leisure pool.
Programme
Water gymnastics is free and runs Tuesday to Friday at 10:30, outside holidays and school breaks. Wednesday evenings from 17:00 are a sauna grill evening.
Visiting
The leisure pool opens Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 22:00; the sauna runs daily from 10:00 to 23:00. The bath is at Würzburger Straße 35 and pays cashless by chip coin.
