About
Therme Bad Wörishofen is a thermal bath located at Thermenallee 1 in Bad Wörishofen, Bavaria. Its waters come from the Venus-Quelle (Venus Spring), a state-recognised healing spring ("staatlich anerkannte Heilquelle") sourced from a depth of 1,100 metres, classified as a fluoride-containing mineral thermal water with a total mineralisation of 2,200 mg per litre. The complex is divided into three bathing worlds: the Thermenparadies, the Vitalbad with sauna areas, and the Sportbad, and it is open 365 days a year.
Thermal water and pools
The Thermenparadies centres on the site's mineral thermal waters, presented beneath a glass dome with a retractable roof and set among real palm trees. The main thermal pool (Thermalbecken) is held at 34°C. A series of themed mineral pools are kept at 36°C, including a brine pool (Solebecken), an iodine-selenium pool (Jod-Selen-Becken), a sulphur pool (Schwefel-Becken), a calcium-lithium pool, a zinc-base pool (Zink-Basenbad), a vitamin spring (Vitaminquelle) and a mineral bath (Mineralienbad). A herbal warm bath (Kräuterwarmbad) reaches 55°C.
Sauna and steam
The Vitalbad and sauna area offers more than 15 themed sauna attractions, among them a meditation sauna with gong sessions and a koi pond, and a herbal sauna (Kräutersauna) at 65°C. Steam baths (Dampfbäder) run at 100% humidity. Sauna and Vitalbad access is reserved for guests aged 16 and over.
Health indications
The site references the healing water in connection with joint pain, rheumatism, spinal conditions, arthritis, disc degeneration, immune function, skin health, wound healing and metabolic support.
Wellness and dining
Wellness offerings include massage treatments and beauty programmes, with bookable suites and wellness islands. The complex also houses the THERMEN-Galeria shopping area, several restaurants and pool bars, outdoor areas with sun loungers, and a motorhome parking area.
