According to the operator, the site covers more than 13,500 m² and combines healing brine (Heilsole) with a large sauna landscape and a range of wellness and health services under one roof.

Thermal pools

The bathing area comprises 13 indoor and outdoor pools. The water is brine with a stated concentration of between 3 and 7 percent, and pool temperatures range from 28 to 37 °C. The thermal bathing area is given as roughly 4,000 m² and includes an outdoor section with a Kneipp area.

The brine and its stated effects

The operator describes the water as healing brine and states that it promotes healthy skin, benefits the respiratory system, relieves the joints and strengthens the cardiovascular system.

Sauna and steam

The Schwarzwald-Sauna landscape offers seven themed saunas with temperatures given as between 55 and 90 °C, along with a brine-geyser steam bath (Sole-Geysir-Dampfbad) and an outdoor pool within the sauna area.

Wellness and health services

Additional offerings named by the operator include a Dead Sea salt grotto (built with around 9,500 salt bricks and kept at approximately 23 °C), a cold/cryotherapy chamber, a fitness centre with TechnoGym equipment, physiotherapy and rehabilitation services, various massages (including ayurvedic, rose-oil and chocolate treatments), a Kneipp area, aqua gymnastics and a shop selling cosmetics and bath products.

The complex includes a restaurant offering regional, international, vegetarian and health-conscious dishes, along with a seasonal beach bar, free parking and rental of robes, towels and swimwear.

Opening hours and prices

According to the operator, the thermal baths are open daily from 09:00 to 22:00 (Fridays until 23:00), with bathing ending half an hour before closing; the Schwarzwald-Sauna opens at 10:00 on weekdays and 09:00 at weekends. A day pass is priced at EUR 19.50.
