SchwabenQuellen

The SchwabenQuellen is a sauna and wellness complex at the SI-Centrum on the southern edge of Stuttgart, sharing the site with hotels and a multi-storey car park. The operator gives its area as more than 7,000 m² and presents it as a themed "wellness world tour" through a series of country and cultural settings; the front page counts twenty-one such settings and the operator's own about page counts twenty, so no figure is recorded here. Despite the name, which refers to no spring, the house publishes no thermal, mineral or spring water data, and it is best understood as a heated bathing and sauna facility rather than a thermal bath.

Bathing is textile-free all year, the single exception being the monthly Textiltag on the first Saturday of each month, when ordinary swimwear is required and the supervisory staff decide whether a garment qualifies. The operator advises booking entry tickets online in advance, particularly at weekends, on Textiltag, on BuddhaBad Saturdays and around public holidays, and states that only an online reservation guarantees admission. Loungers, massages, packages and private spa suites are also bookable in advance.

The water areas sit under a large glass dome and extend outdoors. The Caribbean bathing lagoon is held at 28 °C and is planted with palms and fed by waterfalls; the Icelandic geysir bath outdoors carries brine-treated water at 35 °C; a jungle whirlpool at 35 °C is set on a rock ledge above the lagoon; and a mega whirlpool, also at 35 °C, faces the outdoor grounds. A plunge pool and a set of experience shower grottoes complete the section. Themed saunas include Amazon, Canadian log-cabin, Balinese herb, Finnish, South Tyrolean, Tibetan meditation, Helarium and Egyptian cabins, and the heat and steam rooms comprise a caldarium, an oriental steam bath, an Ottoman bath, a Roman laconium, a salt grotto, the Tikal sweat grotto, a tepidarium and a rose grotto. The operator advertises more than thirty Aufguss ceremonies a day.

Around the bathing and sauna areas are themed rest areas - among them an Africa lodge, an Egyptian refuge, a Japanese Asia lounge, a Moorish winter garden and a Maya temple - along with a solarium world, massage and hamam treatments, cosmetics, a fitness area, two bars and, in summer, an outdoor area called KANTO BEACH. Five bookable private spa suites are offered. Opening hours differ by season: in the summer season from May to September the house opens daily from 10:00 to 22:30, and in the winter season from October to April from 10:00 to 23:30 Monday to Saturday and 10:00 to 22:30 on Sunday. These hours also apply on public holidays, with the exception of Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
