Europabad

Europabad Karlsruhe is a year-round indoor leisure bath with an outdoor section, run by Karlsruher Bädergesellschaft mbH as part of the municipal Karlsruher Bäder group. The operator dates the bath to its opening on 15 March 2008 and gives a total area of more than 5,000 m², open on 364 days of the year.

The bathing hall is organised around a slide tower. The operator's attractions page enumerates eight chutes with their lengths: the Aqua Rocket free-fall slide (14 m of free fall, from age 12), the Breitrutsche wide slide (10 m), Green Viper (120 m, from age 8), the KAi – der Hai children's slide (13 m, ages 4 to 12), the Reifenrutsche tyre slide (170 m), the Sky Surfer stand-up slide (61 m, from age 12 and 1.40 m tall), Tarantula (111 m, from age 8) and the Wildwasserfluss white-water run (100 m, from age 10 and 1.35 m tall). The homepage badge instead advertises "9 Rutschen"; the two operator pages do not agree and no reconciling list is published. At the time of reading the operator states that the Aqua Rocket is out of service.

Pools are listed individually with temperatures rather than as a total. The Erlebnisbecken adventure pool with its current channel and bubbling massage loungers runs at 32 °C, the KAi – der Hai children's world at 32.5 °C, the 25-metre swimmers' pool at 28 °C, the non-swimmers' pool at 32 °C and the outdoor pool at 32.5 °C. A steam bath in the bathing area is held at 45 °C, and a NinjaCross water obstacle course is listed as a new attraction. The water is ordinary heated pool water: neither the homepage, the attractions page, the sauna page nor the company page mentions thermal water, a spring, a borehole or brine anywhere on the site.

The sauna world is charged separately and lists themed cabins with their temperatures and capacities: Arena Sauna at 100 °C from October to March and 90 °C from April to September (40 places), a steam bath at 45 °C (20), Druiden Sauna at 50 °C (20), Excalibur Sauna at 80 °C (50), the Finnische Sauna at 80 °C (40), Kalevala Sauna at 75 °C (80), Schwyzhuus at 85 °C (80) and the bookable Vihta ritual sauna at a flexible temperature (10). Alongside them are an Ice Lounge, a plunge pool, a foot bath, a Raum der Stille, a sleeping house with heated water beds at 26 °C, a winter garden, a sauna garden and terrace, a geyser pool at 32.5 °C and cold and warm pools at 16 °C and 34 °C.

The bath and sauna are open Monday to Saturday 10:00–23:00 and Sunday 10:00–21:00, holidays included, with tills closing 60 minutes and bathing 30 minutes before the bath closes; the slide tower and individual saunas have their own shorter hours. Published day tickets for the leisure bath without sauna are €26.00 for adults at weekends, on holidays and in school holidays and €22.00 Monday to Friday outside those periods, with reduced rates of €21.00 and €17.00 and family tickets at €60.00 and €56.00; four-hour and two-hour tickets are cheaper, children under 1 m pay a flat €4.50. Day tickets including the sauna are €34.00 and €30.00. The operator announces that the whole bath is closed for its annual overhaul from 14 September to 2 October 2026 inclusive, reopening on 3 October 2026.
