About

Panorama-Bad Freudenstadt in the northern Black Forest runs a year-round indoor sport and leisure bath, a Vitalbereich, a textile-free sauna landscape and a seasonal open-air bath, all under the panorama-bad.de domain (the panoramabad-freudenstadt.de address redirects there). The water is plain heated water: a keyword sweep across the bath, sauna, open-air and hours pages found no mention of Sole, Thermalwasser, Mineralwasser or a spring anywhere.

The indoor pools are published with temperatures and depths. The sport pool is a "25 m-Sportbecken für Schwimmer, 27°C Wassertemperatur, Beckentiefe: 2,21 m"; the diving pool with climbing wall also runs at 27 °C with a depth of 3.97 m, and carries 1 m and 3 m springboards, a 5 m platform and a 7 m climbing wall with a minimum age of 9. The warm-water side runs at 32 °C throughout: a toddler area with an orca, a play ship with a small slide and a water cascade at 0.25–0.50 m depth, a children's paddling pool at 0.35 m with a mini slide and a water volcano, and a non-swimmer warm-water pool at 0.98–1.30 m with massage jets. An outdoor pool attached to the indoor hall runs "mit 31°C Wassertemperatur, Massagedüsen und Schwalldusche" at 1.30 m depth, and a large water mushroom runs at 32 °C. A steam grotto lined with natural stone holds about 45 °C and is used in swimwear.

The slide tower carries two rides. Black Hole is a 110-metre dark slide with light effects, start height 9.78 m, up to 20 km/h, minimum age 6 and rated medium difficulty; the Turborutsche is steeper and faster at "Starthöhe: 8,08 m | Geschwindigkeit: bis zu 30 km/h", minimum age 8, rated hard. Tuesday to Friday outside Baden-Württemberg school holidays the tower and the water mushroom only start at 13:00, otherwise from 9:00.

The sauna landscape covers over 1,300 m², is textile-free, and is leased out — the page states "Verpachtet an Champions-Park GmbH". It advertises "Es erwarten dich fünf Saunen" and names them: indoors a classic 90-degree sauna at about 90 °C seating up to 20, a Sanarium at up to 60 °C for 25 to 30 people, and a MeerKlimaSauna at around 60 °C in which medical equipment generates a fine salt mist; outdoors a KELO log sauna of Finnish pine at 80 °C for up to 25 guests and a log-house sauna reaching up to 100 °C. Infusions run hourly. The 90-degree sauna is currently flagged "Bis auf Weiteres außer Betrieb – Inbetriebnahme bei hohem Gästeaufkommen", so only four cabins are reliably in service. Cooling is by corner showers, a Kneipp hose and a 4 m² plunge pool at 19 °C and 1.30 m depth indoors, a cold shower outdoors, and a sauna outdoor pool at 22 °C and 1.30 m depth with massage jets and a bucket shower. Massages are booked directly with an independent therapist who has worked at the bath since 2020 and are paid in cash.

The sport and leisure bath and the Vitalbereich open "Dienstag–Sonntag und Feiertage: 08:00–21:00 Uhr", Monday being a rest day except in Baden-Württemberg school holidays, when the bath opens daily 8:00 to 21:00 and Mondays in the summer holidays from 10:00. The open-air bath runs Monday 10:00–20:00, Tuesday to Friday from 06:30 and weekends and holidays from 08:00, with a published bad-weather rule cutting hours when two days in a row stay under 20 °C or it rains all day; the site states "Die Freibadsaison endet am 13. September 2026!". The two operator pages disagree on sauna hours: the hours page and the site footer give the sauna Tuesday to Thursday 13:00–21:00 and Friday to Sunday 10:00–21:00, while the sauna page's own block gives Tuesday to Thursday 13:00–20:45 and Friday to Sunday 10:00–20:45. Admission to the sport and leisure bath starts at 5.90 € for 105 minutes; an adult pays 7.10 € for 105 minutes, 11.10 € for three hours and 17.50 € for a day ticket, with reduced rates at 5.90 / 9.90 / 16.30 €. Tickets are sold on site only and the till closes an hour before the bath does. No opening year is published.
