Calicéo

Calicéo Strasbourg is at 2A rue Mélina Mercouri, 67380 Lingolsheim, on the south-western edge of Strasbourg. The operator presents it as a balneotherapy centre rather than a thermal or mineral bath: nowhere on the pages read is a spring, a well or a mineral content claimed. The water is plain water heated and held at a constant temperature, given on the centre's own page as 34 °C, and the chain's description of the Bains says the indoor and outdoor pools are heated to 34 °C all year round. The centre is described as covering more than 5,000 m². Outdoors, the heated pools carry jacuzzis, massage jets, bubbling loungers and swan-neck spouts, with open terraces; indoors, large glazed walls light a pool with bubble baths, hydromassage jets and a counter-current circuit.

Admission to the Bains gives access to the whole balneotherapy installation as well as the sauna and hammam areas, and the operator states that the entry also includes aquagym classes at no extra charge. Alongside the Bains there are two other departments: La Vitalité, the supervised water-fitness programme covering aquagym, aquabike, aquatraining, aquapilates and aquasculpt, and Le Spa, which sells massages, facial and body treatments, LPG slimming sessions and rituals by appointment. The operator publishes a downloadable brochure and a Vitalité timetable, and shows a live occupancy indicator on the centre page.

The Bains open from 10:00 to 22:00 Sunday to Thursday and from 10:00 to 23:00 on Friday and Saturday, public holidays included, with no booking required; the pools are cleared fifteen minutes before closing. The Spa opens from 10:00 to 20:00 Monday to Sunday, public holidays included, by appointment. Admission prices are not served in the page source: the price pages are rendered by the site's application after loading, so no tariff is reported here. No opening year is given for the Lingolsheim centre, which the homepage calls a new space; the date 1997 that appears on the company page is the founding of the Calicéo chain, not of this centre. One caution on sourcing: the chain-wide Univers page served under the Strasbourg subdomain describes pools of more than 500 m² and lists an infrared sauna, an ice grotto, salt walls and a hot-cold leg circuit as new installations explicitly attributed to the Marcq-en-Barœul, Cormeilles-en-Parisis, Lieusaint-Carré Sénart and Versailles-Saint-Cyr-l'École centres, not to Strasbourg, so those features are not claimed here.
