Ostseetherme

Ostseetherme is a leisure and wellness bath in Scharbeutz on the Baltic coast, part of the Vital-Hotel group with an adjoining hotel. Its water area, the Aqua-Erlebniswelten, includes an indoor Thermal-Erlebnisbecken pool at about 32 degrees, an Ostsee-Lagune pool at 33 degrees with light effects, whirlpools at 35 degrees, and outdoor pools at 30 degrees with a sunbathing lawn. There are two slides, the 145-meter Gruene Mamba for ages 7 and up and the Red Devil speed slide for ages 13 and up, plus a children's water world with fountains, a water cannon, a current channel, and a paddling pool. The Saunawelten cover about 4,000 square meters with several saunas from 60 to 110 degrees, among them the Ostsee Arena event sauna at 85 degrees, a Wald Sauna at 80 degrees, a Salzstein Sauna and Frische Brise sauna at 60 degrees, an Arctic Sauna at 110 degrees, and a textile sauna in the separate Breeze Spa at 70 degrees, plus a steam bath, up to 23 infusion sessions a day, roof terraces, and a sauna garden with beach access. On site are a bistro WAVES and a bar Meerbar. The operator does not describe the water as coming from a documented thermal spring; thermal here names a pool, not a confirmed source.
