Meerzeit

Meerzeit is an indoor bath and spa in Büsum on Germany's North Sea coast, recently renovated. Its Wellenbecken (wave pool) is filled with real North Sea seawater at 28°C, with a 25-meter swimming stretch and waves generated every 30 minutes from 10:30; a 120 sqm Erlebnisbecken (adventure pool) at 29°C and 1.35 m deep offers a rocking bay and water spouts; an outdoor Warmsitzsuhle bubble pool holds 34°C with a view of the Wadden Sea; a 32°C seawater Kursbecken with a hydraulic floor (30 cm to 1.8 m) hosts swimming courses; and a shallow children's pool (max. 40 cm) at 32°C has a play boat and small slide. A 110-meter slide runs over the wave pool. A separate textile-free sauna area on the roof terrace offers a Blockhaus sauna at 55°C, a panorama sauna at 80-90°C facing the sea, a Kelo sauna at 90°C, an aroma sauna at 70°C, a steam bath at 45°C with 100% humidity, and a sanarium at 50°C with 50% humidity, plus a whirlpool and massage services. A weather-experience corridor lets visitors trigger rain, fog, wind, thunder or snow at the push of a button.
