About
The Kaiser-Therme is at Kurallee 4, 93077 Bad Abbach, in Lower Bavaria south of Regensburg; the venue's own contact block gives this address, which resolves the missing city in the catalogue record. The operator states that its certified healing water is won at a source depth of almost 500 metres and is enriched with various minerals, and that the pools are filled exclusively with this healing water. Because of that, children under three are not admitted, and the site warns that healing water acts more strongly on the circulation than ordinary water.
The bathing hall offers a choice of a white-water pool, a swimmer's pool and a relaxation pool, with water temperatures between 28 and 36 degrees. A panorama outdoor pool at 36 °C sits in the sauna area. General water gymnastics runs at 09:20, 11:20, 14:20 and 18:20. The sauna world covers more than 1,000 square metres and holds five cabins: a panorama outdoor sauna up to 85 °C, a Vital sauna up to 100 °C, a bio apple sauna at 55-60 °C, a herbal-aroma sauna up to 60 °C and a rock-crystal sauna up to 80 °C, alongside an experience steam grotto up to 45 °C, a brine light rest room, a reading rest room, a sauna bar and a sauna garden. Use of the sauna world is only permitted from the age of 16, and Monday is a women's day except on public holidays. A Dead Sea salt grotto, a medical therapy department focused on the musculoskeletal system, wellness treatments and a motorhome park with 34 pitches complete the site.
In the September 2026 schedule the thermal bath opens Monday to Friday 9.00-20.00 and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays 9.00-18.00, with last admission one hour before closing; it is closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. The sauna opens Monday to Friday 13.00-20.00 and at weekends and on public holidays 11.00-18.00. From 13 April to August the sauna is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Single admission to the thermal bath, in force since 1 January 2025, costs €12.00 for 1.5 hours, €15.00 for 3 hours, €18.00 for 5 hours and €23.00 for a day ticket from 7 hours; sauna admission, which includes use of the thermal bath during its regular hours, costs €18.00, €21.00, €24.00 and €29.00 for the same durations. The home page carries a notice that the baths stayed closed on Wednesday 30 September 2026 for appointments concerning the outcome of a sale procedure, and that normal operation resumed on 1 October 2026; no opening year is published on the site.
