Erlebnisbad AquaFit Waldmünchen

The Erlebnisbad AquaFit stands at Dr. Matthias-Lechner-Str. 4 in 93449 Waldmünchen in the Upper Palatinate and is operated by the Stadtwerke Waldmünchen, the town's municipal utility, which is registered as an Anstalt des öffentlichen Rechts. The operator presents the bath under the headings Badewelt, Wellness und Sauna, Gastro and Events, and its own gallery divides the house into a sauna area, a bathing world, a salt grotto, a children's pool, a giant slide and an outdoor area. Nothing on the site names a thermal spring, a brine or a mineral source; the water is ordinary heated pool water, and the bath is a leisure bath rather than a thermal one. Across the 2026 calendar Wednesdays and Thursdays run 14:00-21:00, Fridays 14:00-23:00, Saturdays 14:00-19:00 and Sundays 09:00-19:00; Mondays and Tuesdays are open 14:00-21:00 in some weeks and closed in others, and in holiday weeks the house opens at 11:00. Last admission is 60 minutes before closing. The operator also publishes its maintenance shutdowns in advance: Monday 14 September to Friday 2 October 2026, then 5-16 April 2027 and 13-30 September 2027. Admission, priced as of February 2025, is 10.00 EUR for an adult day ticket to the bathing world and 7.00 EUR reduced, 17.00 EUR for the sauna area (from 16 years) and 19.00 EUR for bath and sauna combined; children under six enter free.
