H₂O Sauna- und Badeparadies

The H₂O Sauna- und Badeparadies stands at Hackenberger Straße 109 in Remscheid and is run by H2O GmbH. It combines a bathing hall with an outdoor bathing area, a separate sauna landscape and a spa and restaurant section, and is aimed at swimmers, families and sauna guests alike. The water is not thermal and no spring, well or mineral analysis is published: most pools hold plain heated water, while two pools are filled with salt water that the operator calls "Natursole" and "mineralreiches Solewasser" without giving a concentration or a source.

The operator lists its pools individually rather than giving a total of basins; an overview page speaks of nine bathing areas while the pool page itself enumerates ten water basins, and the two counts are not reconciled. Indoors there is a 25-metre sports pool with six lanes at 27–29 °C and a depth of 1.80 to 3.80 m, fitted with two diving towers (1 m and 3 m) and six starting blocks; an adventure pool at 27–29 °C and 1.1–1.35 m deep with slides, a climbing rope, a waterfall and bubbling features; an indoor brine pool at 31–33 °C and 1.35 m deep with massage jets, bubble loungers and a neck shower; a baby and toddler pool at 31–33 °C, 0.1–0.5 m deep, with a water fountain, a boat channel and a mini slide; a teaching pool up to 1.30 m deep at 30–32 °C; a Kneipp treading pool; and a whirlpool at 34 °C. Outdoors are a 25 m sports pool at 26 °C and 1.35 m deep, which stays closed in unsettled weather below 19 °C, an outdoor brine pool at 31–33 °C and 1.35 m deep, and a shaded outdoor paddling pool at 26 °C.

Three slides and two diving towers make up the adventure section: the Crazy River, 60 m long and ridden with or without a tyre, the Doppelsteilrutsche, 8 m long with two parallel lanes, and a dark tube slide of over 20 m that ends in the adventure pool.

The sauna landscape is styled on Finnish lines and is described as eleven different saunas and steam baths; the sauna page itself splits this into three indoor and five outdoor saunas, the remainder being steam and vapour rooms in the Bad der Sinne. Indoors are the Ruusu-Sauna at 85 °C and 20 % humidity with rose oil and rose-quartz stones, the Majava-Sauna at 90 °C with changing infusions, and the Valo-Bad at 65 °C and 40 % humidity with colour and sound. Outdoors are the log-cabin Kammi-Sauna at 95–110 °C and 0 % humidity with an open fire, the Kelo-Sauna at 80 °C and 40 % humidity for birch and ice infusions, the Takka-Sauna at 85 °C and 0 % humidity, the Löyly-Sauna at 90–95 °C and 20 % humidity, and the Medi-Sauna at 70 °C and 20 % humidity with a view over the Bergisches Land. A graduation tower 40 m long and 7 m high supplies salt-laden air, and the sauna section also has a cold plunge pool, a Kneipp pool, a whirlpool, a sauna pool and several quiet rooms.

The bathing section opens Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 22:00 and Sunday from 10:00 to 21:00, and is closed on Mondays except on public holidays and during the school holidays; in the North Rhine-Westphalian summer holidays it also opens on Mondays. On public holidays the regular weekday hours apply. Admission to the bathing section on the discount tariff (Tuesday to Friday) is 7.90 € for two hours, 9.40 € for four hours and 11.00 € for a whole day for adults and young people from 14; on the standard tariff (Saturday, Sunday and public holidays) the same steps cost 9.40 €, 10.90 € and 12.50 €. Children from 6 to 13 pay 5.40 / 6.90 / 8.90 € and 6.90 / 8.40 / 10.40 € respectively, and a family day ticket for up to four people costs 30.00 €. No opening year is published by the operator and the bath has no German Wikipedia article.
