Aquella

Aquella is a leisure pool and sauna complex in Ansbach, Bavaria, at Am Stadion 2, combining an indoor Freizeitbad, an outdoor Freibad and a sauna landscape. Indoors: a 25 m sports pool (1.95 m deep, 26.5°C, five lanes), a current channel, a wave pool at 30°C, a 73 m tube water slide ending in an indoor catch pool at 31°C, a teaching pool at 32°C and a children's splash pool with a small slide at 34°C. The outdoor Freibad has a 50 m multi-purpose pool with eight lanes and starting blocks, a diving pool with two 1 m boards, a 3 m board, a 5 m tower and an integrated climbing wall, a non-swimmer pool with two slides, a water playground and a children's paddling pool with a boat channel and slide. The sauna area has an indoor section with a Sanarium, steam bath, salt sauna, Caldarium, Tepidarium, infrared cabin, foot-warming basin and a rest room with an open fireplace, plus an outdoor section with two large outdoor saunas, a sauna garden, showers and a stainless-steel cold-plunge basin. Tuesdays are a women-only sauna day. The operator does not mention any thermal spring or mineral water; the pools are conventionally heated.
