About

Aquapark Rakovník stands at Nábřeží Dr. Beneše 2602 in Rakovník and is made up of an indoor complex, a sauna section and an outdoor summer area. The indoor swimming hall holds a "klasický 25m plavecký bazén" with six lanes and a depth of 1,2 m to 1,6 m, used mainly for school lessons and for the KPS Rakovník club, with lanes set aside for public fitness swimming; the operator states that the water for fitness swimming sits "kolem standardních 27,3°C". A live temperature panel on the home page reports the indoor pool, the indoor paddling pool, the indoor children's teaching pool and the whirlpool separately.

The attractions are gathered in a separate pavilion. Two flumes with light effects run from it: the blue one is 84 m long and the orange one 53 m, both rated medium difficulty, both with a 0,3 m landing depth and both restricted to children from ten years up; the water in the two landing pools is kept up to 28 °C, and the tubes alternate dark and lit sections. The recreational pool in the pavilion carries a lazy river ("divoká řeka") where bathers can drift with the current or swim against it, and wave-making bays; its depth is 1,1 m. Two whirlpools sit alongside, the larger of 9,7 m³ seating twelve people on a massage bench and the smaller of 7,5 m³ seating nine, both tiled in ceramic mosaic with a bubbler in the centre and massage jets in the backrests, and both held at 34-36 °C with a recommended maximum stay of twenty minutes. A Kneipp walking bath alternates a warm basin at about 40 °C with a cold one at about 10 °C. The indoor children's paddling pool is 0,1 m to 0,4 m deep, is held at 30-32 °C, is intended for children from one to six years, and carries play features including a mushroom fountain and a small slide.

The sauna section has two hot rooms at around 90 °C and two plunge pools at 10-20 °C, and runs to its own timetable with mixed, men's and women's days. A steam bath is described on the swimming-pool page as a room heated to 45 °C at up to 100 % humidity. The outdoor area adds a second 25 m swimming pool of the same 1,2-1,6 m depth, a children's paddling pool of 0,1-0,4 m, showers, toilets, accessible changing rooms and a playground.

Nothing on the operator's site describes the water as thermal or mineral: a keyword sweep of the home page, the aquapark, swimming-pool, sauna and price pages found no occurrence of "termál", "termal" or "minerál", and no opening year or construction date is published either. The water is treated, heated mains water. Admission is sold by time: from the price list valid from 2.1.2026, 60 minutes of pool only costs 90 Kč for those over fifteen and 60 Kč for children aged three to fifteen, while pool plus attractions costs 120 Kč for 60 minutes and 455 Kč for a whole day; a combined sauna and pool ticket up to 120 minutes is 250 Kč. Ten minutes for changing is added automatically to every entry.
