Therme Loipersdorf

Therme Loipersdorf is a thermal spa resort in Bad Loipersdorf, in the East Styrian thermal region of Austria. According to its official website (therme.at), the resort combines thermal and adventure bathing, an extensive sauna area, and wellness and spa treatments, drawing on mineral-rich water tapped from deep beneath the site.

Thermal water

The website states that the water is supplied by four sources named Lautenberg, Binderberg, Barbara and Rehgraben, extracted from a depth of 1,038 to 1,108 metres. It reaches 62°C at the source and requires only minor cooling before use. The site reports a dissolved mineral content of approximately 7,500 mg per litre, which it describes as the highest among the thermal baths of the East Styrian thermal country, and notes that the sources are around 29,500 years old, with about 226 million litres drawn annually.

Pools

The resort's thermal area contains seven thermal pools. Per the website, the indoor thermal pool is kept at 36°C with a depth of 130 to 160 cm and includes a pool bar, while the outdoor thermal pool is also 36°C at a depth of 160 cm, with views over the surrounding Styrian hills. Additional water features include cold and warm pools at 20°C and 38°C and an outdoor thermal whirlpool at 36°C. An adventure bath (Erlebnisbad) offers slides, a sports pool, a Baby Beach area and a Wildbach (wild stream) feature.
