Termas de Cuntis

Termas de Cuntis, also called the Balneario de Cuntis, is a spa resort in the village of Cuntis, in the interior of Pontevedra province in Galicia. Bathers have come to its hot springs for generations.

The water

Several springs feed the resort, each at its own temperature. The water is classed as mineral-medicinal: sulphurous, sodium, hyperthermal and strongly mineralised, with sulphides and sulphates, silica, fluoride, calcium and magnesium. The hottest source, Fuego de Dios (fire of God), reaches about 64 °C.

Baths and pools

The balneario has more than 40 treatment cabins for hydromassage baths, jets and mud treatments, along with thermal pools, saunas and steam rooms. AcquaForm, beside it, is a thermal leisure circuit with indoor and outdoor pools, and its Vital Club has saunas and ice cabins. Treatments also include massage, INDIBA treatments and respiratory programmes, one of them for children.

Staying

Two four-star hotels stand on site, Hotel La Virgen and Hotel Castro do Balneario, both with direct access to the baths.
