Termas de Vizela is a historic thermal spa in Vizela, northern Portugal, whose mineral-medicinal waters have been valued for their curative properties since Roman times, with the first facilities established in 1785.
Thermal water & source
The waters are sulphurous, fluoridated and sodic, emerging from springs in the Vizela area. They are officially indicated for respiratory and osteoarticular conditions, with a broader traditional spectrum covering nervous, dermatological, muscular and immune-system disorders.
