Termas da Moimenta

Termas da Moimenta is a thermal spa in the village of Moimenta, in the municipality of Terras de Bouro, about 16 km from the entrance to the Peneda-Geres National Park in northern Portugal. Surrounded by mountain landscapes, it is a tranquil, health-focused retreat built around the region's mineral spring.

Thermal water & source

The waters that feed the spa are sulphurous, bicarbonated and sodic, emerging at a temperature of 21°C with a pH of 9.04. These mineral waters are traditionally indicated for the treatment of respiratory conditions, rheumatic and musculoskeletal complaints, and skin ailments and allergies.

Season & visiting

The spa operates seasonally from 1 May to 31 October. The baths and treatment facilities are open Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 to 13:00 and 15:00 to 19:00.
