Vitalpark (Eichsfeld-Therme)

Vitalpark is a bathing and sauna complex in Heilbad Heiligenstadt, Thüringen, operating as the Eichsfeld-Therme. The indoor bathing area covers 1000 square metres of water surface across five pools: an adventure pool at 30°C with a current channel, massage loungers, a whirlpool and a surge shower; a sports pool at 27°C with five 25-metre lanes and one- and three-metre diving platforms; a saline pool at 32°C filled with a 2-3% thermal brine solution, with massage loungers and a therapy lift; a children's pool at 32°C with a slide and water games; and an outdoor pool at 29°C open year-round. The sauna area, Saunawelt, includes an Entdeckersauna and a Panoramasauna at 90-95°C, a Finnish sauna at 95-100°C, an earth sauna at 85°C, a colour-light sauna at 65°C, and a Laconium at 50°C for those who find a traditional sauna too hot, plus a cold-water plunge pool, a fireplace lounge and a bar. The complex also offers SPA and wellness treatments, a seasonal outdoor summer pool, a fitness and rehabilitation centre, and a self-service snack bar. The bathing world is open Monday to Sunday, 08:00-21:00, with reduced hours on public holidays.
