Toskana Therme Bad Orb

The Toskana Therme sits beside the Bad Orb spa park in eastern Hesse. The building still belongs to Bad Orb; the tenant and operator is Toskanaworld GmbH, which also runs the hotel next door.

The operator markets the water as Champagnersole and describes it as salty and slightly alkaline, held at 32–35 °C. Its composition sheet names the Philippsquelle and the Ludwigsquelle as the sources and gives, per litre, 8,860 mg chloride, 5,190 mg sodium and 1,678 mg hydrogencarbonate. The town's published spring table puts both springs well below bathing temperature — 14.0 °C at a depth of 73.5 m, and 8.5 °C at 58 m — so the brine is heated for the pools rather than arriving warm.

Seven pools and whirlpools are listed: four cascade brine pools with massage jets, a heated outdoor brine pool with a current channel, a children's pool, a freshwater swimming pool, two whirlpools, and the Liquid Sound temple, a domed basin with underwater music, included in ordinary entry. The sauna world lists six rooms — a Finnish and an outdoor panorama sauna at 90 °C, a bio-sanarium at 55 °C, a reading sauna at 45 °C, a steam bath at 43 °C and a broncharium at 30 °C with dry brine mist.

Opening is 10:00 to 22:00 from Sunday to Thursday and to 23:00 on Friday and Saturday.
