Monte Mare

Monte mare Obertshausen is a leisure-bath and sauna resort in Obertshausen, Hessen, Germany. The Freizeitbad (leisure pool area) includes several named basins: a relaxation pool at 31°C with underwater massage jets, neck showers and a depth of 1.25–1.33 m; an adventure pool at 29°C with relaxation loungers, waterfalls and a current channel; two whirlpools at 33°C; a textile steam bath at 45°C for leisure-bath guests; a children's water play area at 34°C with a grotto, waterfall and slide; and a 25-metre, 4-lane sports pool at 27°C, also used by schools and clubs on weekdays. The Sauna-Resort offers more than 10 themed saunas, from a mild aroma steam bath to a hot fire sauna with a chimney, a classic Finnish sauna and a Russian banya. Named examples include Sauna Serengeti at about 73°C for infusions, the low-temperature Sauna Virungas at about 55°C without infusions, the Yunga steam bath at about 45°C with 12 seats, and the Namib infrared cabin at 40–45°C with 8 seats. There is also a hamam with paid treatments, a solarium, a cold-plunge basin, a Kneipp path, a relaxation room, massage rooms and the bon gusto restaurant.
