Lister Bad

Lister Bad is a municipal outdoor pool (Freibad) in the Hannover city district of List, run by the city's public baths operator. It is open seasonally; the 2026 season ran from 14 May to 13 September, with hours of 06:00-20:30 on weekdays and 08:00-20:30 on weekends and public holidays. The water area consists of a 50 by 21.5 metre swimmers' pool with a competition diving section offering 1 m and 3 m springboards and 5 m, 7.5 m and 10 m diving platforms, a 50 by 25 metre non-swimmers' pool with a slide, floor bubble jets and water play equipment, and a 10 by 15 metre paddling pool with a second-level basin, its own slide and floor bubblers; the swimmers' and paddling pools are kept at 22 degrees Celsius, warmed by a solar absorber system. A heated indoor hall (Warmehalle) connects to the 50-metre pool through a swim-through channel, used mornings and evenings by health swimmers. The site also has a lawn for sunbathing under old trees, table tennis, football and volleyball areas, a playground with wooden equipment and a sandpit, catering, and facilities for visitors with disabilities including accessible toilets, showers, changing rooms and a plastic pool wheelchair.
