Königliche Kristall-Therme Seelze

Königliche Kristall-Therme Seelze is a thermal brine (Sole) spa in Seelze, Germany. It is a large wellness complex offering warm salt-water bathing, a themed sauna landscape and treatment areas, and it is a certified medicinal facility indicated for musculoskeletal conditions. The venue advertises roughly 10,000 m² of wellness space, of which about 1,700 m² is water surface.

The water

The spa is built around naturally saline brine water. Its bathing basins carry different salt concentrations, ranging from a gentle 1.5% up to a strongly saline 12%, with the highest concentration used in the outdoor brine pool. The thermal water is kept at bathing temperature, around 36°C. A grotto with softer brine is held at about 33°C.

Pools & saunas

Bathers can use both indoor and outdoor brine pools of varying salinity, plus a brine grotto and cold plunge basins for cooling down. The sauna offering comprises seven themed saunas, four indoors and three outdoors, running across a temperature range of roughly 60 to 100°C. In addition there is a steam bath at about 45°C and an Ottoman-style hammam.

Facilities

Beyond bathing, the spa provides a range of treatments including massages and beauty services such as hot-stone, oil and head massages, as well as water-gymnastics sessions. On site there is a restaurant and café, and a landscaped romance garden with relaxation areas. On-site overnight rooms are not offered; the spa instead recommends nearby partner hotels for longer stays.

Visiting

The spa is open 364 days a year. An evening tariff is available, priced between €12.50 and €17.00 depending on the area accessed, and the venue offers group discounts and a family rate under which some children can enter free.
