Erlebnisbad Cunewalde

Erlebnisbad Cunewalde is the open-air leisure bath of the municipality of Cunewalde in the Oberlausitzer Bergland, at Am Sportzentrum 11. The operator gives the extent of the water rather than a pool count: bathing on 850 m² of water surface in solar-heated basins. The page enumerates the basins instead of totalling them - a barrier-free swimming pool, an activity pool described only as carrying attractions, six swimmer lanes with starting blocks, and a small-children play landscape alongside a separate water playground. No water temperatures, no basin dimensions and no slide lengths are published.

The attraction list names a giant slide and a broad slide, a swing bay and a climbing net; lengths and heights are not given. On the dry side the site offers beach volleyball, table tennis and outsize chess. An infrared textile sauna is listed among the attractions and is described as being available on cooler days; the operator names no cabin temperature and no second cabin. There is a kiosk, free WLAN over the municipal C-DSL network, 50 free parking spaces and a charging point for e-bike batteries.

The bath is seasonal. For the 2026 season the operator announces reopening on 16 May. In May and September it opens Monday to Friday 13.00-19.00 and at weekends and on public holidays 10.00-19.00; in June, July and August it opens 10.00-20.00 on every day of the week. Additional hours can be arranged for groups by prior booking. Annual, ten-trip and after-work tickets exist, as does a 'Radlerticket' - the bath stands directly on the Bahnradweg Oberlausitz cycle route and the kiosk is reachable from the path - but the prices themselves are published only in a separate fee schedule, not on this page. The bath's clubhouse, the 'Schwimmerhaeusel', was renovated and extended with a covered picnic area from April 2021 by the Foerderverein Erlebnisbad Cunewalde e.V. with LEADER funding and a savings-bank donation drive.
