The open-air pool stands at Am Oberhammer 1 in the Berggießhübel part of Bad Gottleuba-Berggießhübel, in Saxon Switzerland. It is laid out with separate areas for lap swimming and recreational bathing across green grounds.

Water facilities include a swimmers' pool, a non-swimmer experience pool that the operator describes as having the largest current channel in Saxon Switzerland, a diving tower with 1-metre and 3-metre platforms, and a children's splash pool with a barrier-free water play area. A 90-metre water slide is among the attractions.

Dry facilities include a beach volleyball court, table tennis tables, a sand play area and a coffee garden. The operator lists the 2026 bathing season as beginning on 9 May, weather permitting.
