aquaLaatzium

aquaLaatzium is a leisure and wellness center in Laatzen, in the Hannover region of Lower Saxony, Germany, run by aquaLaatzium Freizeit GmbH. The pool section includes a 25-metre sport pool with a 1 and 3-metre diving tower, 1.87-3.57 m deep and heated to 28 C, and a shallower adventure pool (Erlebnisbecken) at 1.35 m and 31 C with a current channel used for aquaFit classes. Two body slides, Body2Racer, run 95 metres with electronic time measurement. A toddler area is 0.50 m deep at about 32 C with two children's slides, a water snake and a paddling stream. An indoor whirlpool holds eight people at 35 C. Outdoors there is a 180 sq m brine pool enriched with 3% Luisenhaller natural sole, 1.35 m deep at 29-31 C, plus a natural bathing lake with a swimming area, water-snail slide and sandbox, temperature depending on weather. A separate hall holds a competition pool with seven 25-metre lanes, 1.85 m deep, 27 C, movable floor and dividable basin, used by clubs and schools. There is also a sauna landscape with a Zirben (Swiss pine) sauna, a Terva sauna, warm and outdoor pools, hamam and massage bookings, a fitness area, and the Blubb bistro.
