Thermes Sourcéo

Thermes Sourcéo sits on the shore of the Christus lake in Saint-Paul-lès-Dax and is the largest and most public-facing of the Thermes Adour houses. Where its sister establishments in Dax are cure buildings pure and simple, Sourcéo pairs the medical side with the group's only aqualudique centre, and that centre is open to anyone, not just to prescribed patients. It counts five pools of naturally warm mineral water, three indoors and two outdoors, held at 33 °C the year round and fitted out with jacuzzis, bubble seats and loungers, high-pressure jets, swan-neck showers, geysers, hot and cold cascades and a counter-current swimming channel. A hammam of two rooms at 40 to 45 °C, a sauna at around 80 °C and a cardio room round out the complex, and aquagym sessions run five times a day on weekdays.

The thermal side runs the standard French conventionné cure: eighteen days prescribed by a doctor and reimbursed by the social insurance funds, in rheumatology or phlebology orientation or in a double orientation, plus specific workshop-based programmes and six-day preventive thermal weeks. Curistes at Sourcéo are also charged for a Confort + service on top of the cure package, covering hot drinks and pastries, daily bathrobes and towels on request; it is not covered by the social funds and the operator makes it compulsory over most of the season. Accommodation is the 195-room Best Western Hôtel Sourcéo in the same complex, open all year.

Thermes Adour states that it owns its waters and that only its Thermes des Arènes house draws thermal water from the Dax municipal utility, so Sourcéo runs on the group's own springs. The cure season for 2026 is the longest of the four Dax houses, 12 January to 20 December, with treatments daily except Sunday; the aquatic centre keeps its own calendar, open seven days a week from 10:00 to 20:30, with the spa closing at 19:00.
