Luzéa

The Thermes de Luz-Saint-Sauveur (Luzéa) are a conventioned thermal establishment in the town of Luz-Saint-Sauveur, in the Hautes-Pyrénées. The site combines a neoclassical building with modern equipment and sits in a mountain setting overlooking the Gave de Pau gorge, near the Cirque de Gavarnie, the Cirque de Troumouse and the Pic du Midi de Bigorre.

Thermal water

The station's thermal water rises at a natural temperature of 32-33°C. The site describes the water as having sedative, relaxing properties, and it is used in the establishment's treatments.

Medical cures

Luzéa is conventioned for four therapeutic orientations: phlebology (venous conditions), respiratory and ENT conditions ("voies respiratoires"), gynecology (including endometriosis), and lymphology, the last delivered through a lymphedema programme named LYMPHO'THERMES. Cures combining two of these orientations are available. Shorter mini-cures of roughly 6 to 12 days are also offered, covering endometriosis, post-cancer care, light legs ("Jambes Légères") and a dynamic wellness programme.

Wellness and treatments

The wellness centre includes a balneotherapy pool. The site states this pool is filled with chlorinated municipal water rather than thermal water, and access is permitted from age 5. Treatments listed include facial care, body care and massages ("modelages"), along with slimming and anti-aging services, hydrotherapy sessions and cardiac-coherence relaxation sessions. A "passeport bien-être" priced at 130€ gives three weeks of access to the balneotherapy and activities.

Visiting

The wellness centre is open from 10:00 to 12:30 and 15:00 to 19:30, Monday to Saturday. The establishment is located at 31 Avenue de l'Impératrice Eugénie, 65120 Luz-Saint-Sauveur. The 2026 season is announced to open on Monday 30 March 2026.
