Les Bains du Rocher

The bathing water is held at 34 °C, indoors and in the outdoor pools. The operator traces it to the naturally hot water of Cauterets, gives it a sulphurous composition and a natural temperature of 53 to 60 °C, and says the same source feeds the town's cure establishment as well as this spa, where the pools run at 33 to 35 °C. The indoor hall has a large pool with bubbling baths, bubble benches and swan-neck spouts; outdoors a 200 m² lagoon with whirlpools, bubble beds and a water current looks out over the Pyrenees and stays open in every season.

There is a sauna, a salt room, massage and a gym. Alongside them sit a hammam, a relaxation room lined with salt stone, a beauty institute, and a weights and cardio room with aquagym and aquabike sessions. The operator describes the Cauterets water as a natural sulphurous sodium mineral water reputed for relieving complaints of the asthma, bronchitis and rheumatism kind. Prescribed thermal cures are not taken here, though: they belong to the Thermes de Cauterets, a separate establishment on the same water.

The timetable moves with the season and the operator publishes a calendar for the whole year: between 31 August and 1 November 2026 the baths open Monday to Saturday from 14:00 to 19:30 and on Sunday from 10:00 to 13:00 and 14:00 to 18:00, followed by a technical closure from 2 November to early December. Men are admitted in briefs or boxer trunks only; beach shorts and underwear are turned away.
