L'Océanide

L'Océanide is a centre aquatique in Saverne, Alsace, about thirty kilometres from Strasbourg, at 10 Rue du Centre Nautique, 67700 Saverne. The water is treated pool water; the operator makes no claim of thermal or mineral water anywhere on the site. The centre is open throughout the year and is divided into an aquatic area and a separate wellness area, each with its own opening hours and its own admission.

The operator enumerates the aquatic area rather than giving a pool total: an indoor sports pool of 25 metres with six lanes, open all year; leisure pools indoors and outdoors; two paddling pools, one indoor and one outdoor; a slide; and a jacuzzi. The indoor leisure pool is given as 190 square metres, with massage jets and a counter-current river. The indoor paddling pool is given as 40 square metres with water play features. The slide is stated as open from age 6, to be ridden alone. The outdoor area opens in July and August only and comprises a leisure pool of 260 square metres, an outdoor paddling pool of 47 square metres, a large solarium with sun loungers, and a four-lane Pentagliss racing slide with a minimum height of 1.10 m. Alongside free bathing the centre runs booked aquasport sessions, grouped as Basic (Aquafitness, Aquaboxing) and Premium (Aquabiking, Aquafusion), plus swimming courses and an Académie du Savoir-Nager.

The wellness area, described as mixed and requiring a swimming costume every day, holds two saunas, two hammams, a cold plunge bath, two foot baths, a herbal-tea room and a rest area. A mixed nudist slot is published on Friday afternoons. Hours are published in three schedules. In term time the aquatic area runs Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 12:00-14:00 and 15:45-20:15, Wednesday 08:00-12:00 and 17:00-19:45, and Saturday and Sunday 09:00-12:30 and 13:30-18:15, with the wellness area opening slightly later each day. For the summer period dated 29 June 2026 to 30 August 2026 the aquatic area runs daily 09:00-19:30 and the wellness area daily 10:00-19:30. The pool is cleared 15 minutes before closing in term time and 30 minutes before closing in summer.

Published admission for a single day entry is 6.40 EUR for adults from 18, 4.80 EUR for children aged 3 to 17 and for the reduced senior and disabled rate, and 20.00 EUR for a family pass of two adults and two children or one adult and three children; each carries a higher high-season rate of 7.20, 5.40 and 22.00 EUR respectively. A wellness entry for adults is 14.00 EUR, an all-inclusive entry covering the aquatic area, the wellness area and one aquasport session is 22.00 EUR, and a wellness duo entry is 26.00 EUR. Ten-entry passes and monthly subscriptions from 26.00 EUR are also published. Note that the operator's legal notice gives only the publisher's registered seat at 18 rue Martin Luther King, 14280 Saint-Contest in Normandy, several hundred kilometres away; the bath's own address appears in the contact block. At the time of reading the site carried a notice of a technical closure of the centre from 7 to 13 September inclusive.
