Wellness Kuřim

Wellness Kuřim is an aquatic and wellness centre in Kuřim, in the South Moravian Region (Jihomoravský kraj) of the Czech Republic. It opened in October 2010 as a reconstructed aquatic facility on Sportovní Street.

Pools and slides

Indoor water includes a 25-metre pool with four lanes, 8.5 m wide, 1.1–1.6 m deep and kept at 28 °C; a teaching pool of about 6 by 10 metres with water sprayers, a movable floor adjustable from 0.1–1.25 m deep and two spouts, at 30 °C; and a recreational pool with an artificial river, a wave cave, a counter-current and a water mushroom, up to 17 by 12.5 m and 1.2 m deep at 30–31 °C. A 75-metre toboggan runs with light effects, a 7.4-metre height drop and a 10 % slope. There is a children's paddling area with a small slide. An 8-person whirlpool with wall jets runs at 34 °C, and two aromatized steam baths operate alongside the saunas. Two outdoor pools operate in summer, with September weekday hours of 13:00 to 19:00 and weekend hours from 11:00.

The wellness side offers Finnish and tropical saunas along with spa baths at 35–37 °C, such as beer, peat, herbal and Dead Sea salt baths, plus massage. Other facilities include a fitness centre, the Jedna Báseň restaurant and bar (11:00–22:00), and swimming lessons and group classes.
