Aquapark Kohoutovice

Aquapark Kohoutovice is a water park in the Kohoutovice district of Brno, Czech Republic, run by the city sports operator Starez Sport, described by the operator as the only aquapark in Brno. The indoor hall has a 25-metre, six-lane swimming pool 1.8-2.0 metres deep at 27-28C, and a covered recreational pool 0.8-1.2 metres deep at 30C with water jets, bubble grids, five water spouts and a wild-river current. Next to it is an oval paddling pool with a water mushroom, 18 centimetres deep at 30C, and a whirlpool reaching 34C. A 90-metre slide runs beside the recreational pool. In summer a rooftop pool opens, 80 centimetres deep at 28-30C, with a sun terrace and loungers, weather permitting. Admission includes a steam sauna by the pool hall, up to 50C with up to 100% humidity, capacity 14, at no extra charge. A separate Finnish sauna upstairs, capacity 12, with a cold-plunge pool, an ice well and a relaxation room, is billed separately once a stay exceeds three minutes. A gym is also included in the pool admission. Opening hours are 6:00-21:30 on weekdays and 8:00-21:30 on weekends and holidays, last admission 20:45, closing at 22:00; water attractions run daily 8:00-20:00.
