Aquapark Shhhuma

Aquapark Shhhuma stands in the village of Velika in eastern Croatia (Slavonia), inside Papuk Nature Park. The operator states that the park sits at the thermal water source itself and describes its pools as carrying spring thermal water, so the bathing water here is thermal rather than ordinary treated pool water drawn from mains supply. The site is the rebuilt version of the older Velički bazeni municipal baths: the operator writes that the fully renovated and extended complex opened to visitors in the summer of 2021.

The operator gives the site area as over 17,000 square metres and enumerates its contents as five pools, three slides, a children's water tower, a mushroom fountain, a children's splash area, a lazy river, an enclosed indoor playroom, a restaurant, a fast food outlet, a patisserie, an outdoor bar, a bar inside the lazy river pool, and a shop. No combined total of water surface or slide length is published, so the enumeration is reproduced as the operator gives it. The bathing season is stated as May to September, with the pools and permitted bathing running every day from 09:00 to 20:00; the restaurant and café bar keep longer daily hours, 09:00 to 22:00, and are described as operating throughout the year. Outside the bathing season the grounds are used for an Advent event, "Ninina čarobna Shhhuma", which the operator dates 6 December to 6 January.
