Therme Laa an der Thaya

Therme Laa an der Thaya is a thermal bath and resort in Laa an der Thaya, Lower Austria, roughly an hour from Vienna. According to its official website, the facility is fed by the 'Laa Thermal Nord I' healing spring (Heilquelle), a sodium-chloride-iodine mineral thermal source, and pairs a large water landscape with sauna areas, a dedicated children's world, a premium adults-only day spa and an on-site hotel.

The water emerges at an exit temperature of 42 °C, has a skin-friendly pH value of 7.36, and flows at a rate of 6.3 litres per second. Pools

The therme offers a water landscape of about 7,800 m² comprising five pools (5 Becken). Named features include an outdoor brine (sole) pool, a wild-water pool, and children's basins, including a shallow pool of 30 cm depth. Individual pool water temperatures are not stated on the site.

Summer rates (29 May–6 September 2026) include an adult full-day ticket at €29.80 and a 3-hour ticket at €19.80; children aged 7–13 pay €19.80 (full day) and 3–6-year-olds €9.80, with under-3s free. A Saunawelt add-on costs €12.50, and the 'Relax! Tagesurlaub' day-spa package is €74–€84.
