Aquacity St. Pölten

Aquacity is the indoor bath of the city of St. Pölten, at Schießstattring 15 in the centre of town, five minutes on foot from the railway station. The operator describes it as spread over three floors with more than 6,000 m². The bath hall and the sauna world, branded SaunaCity, are run as one house with separate opening hours, and the sauna may be entered with children.

The operator enumerates the water rather than counting it. The main attraction is a 72 m water slide called 'Black Hole', which drops through two storeys into a run-out pool. Next to the family play area with its play brook are a whirlpool, a flow carousel and massage loungers. For swimming there is a 25 m sports pool and a 16.6 m teaching pool used for swimming courses for all ages; the teaching pool is described as holding body-warm water, but no figure in degrees is published for it or for any other basin. Baby and toddler courses run in ten 45-minute units for children from the twelfth week of life to the age of four, at 144.40 euro for Aquababys and 170.60 euro for Aquakids.

SaunaCity is listed as an enumeration without a total: two Finnish saunas, a bio-sauna, a brine steam bath, a herbal bath, cold- and warm-water pools, infrared cabins, a solarium, a sauna buffet, showers, and a roof terrace with a 200 m² quiet room. No cabin temperatures are given. The bath is closed on Mondays and otherwise opens Tuesday to Friday 10.00-21.00, Saturday 9.00-21.00, Sunday 9.00-20.00 and on public holidays 9.00-21.00, with early swimming for minute-card and annual-card holders on Tuesday and Thursday 6.15-7.45 and on Sunday 7.30-9.00, suspended during the school holidays. SaunaCity opens on Monday as a women's day from 14.00-21.00, Tuesday and Thursday 13.00-21.00, Wednesday and Friday 10.00-21.00, Saturday 9.00-21.00 and on Sundays and public holidays 9.00-20.00. Tariffs are published separately, dated from 1 September 2025, and tickets are also sold online.
