Narzissentherme Bad Aussee

The Narzissen Vital Resort in Bad Aussee, Styria, is a Solebad, a brine bath, joined to a four-star suite hotel. Its brine, the Ausseer Sole, comes according to the resort from the Sandling, the salt mountain of Altaussee, and has been used in cures for more than 100 years.

Pools

The Solesee, in a grotto of salt crystals, is held at 34 °C with 4% Ausseer brine. The outdoor brine pool runs at 32–34 °C with 2–3% brine and has bubble seats, geysers and massage jets. The Relaxbecken (33–34 °C) and the Narzissenbecken (32–34 °C) are filled with Ausseer spring water, and a 17-metre pool at 28 °C is used for swimming, courses and therapy. A brine inhalation steam bath is kept at 40 °C and 90% humidity with a fine mist of brine.

A cold pool of Ausseer spring water at 8–10 °C is there for cooling off. The Narzissen Vital Spa offers treatments and outpatient therapy programmes, and there is the Narzissen Restaurant as well as food in the bath itself.
