Erlebnisbad Obervellach

Erlebnisbad Obervellach is run by the municipality of Obervellach in the Mölltal, in the Hohe Tauern national park region of Carinthia, at the address 9821 Obervellach 155. The water is plain heated pool water: the operator's page names no spring, no thermal or mineral source and no brine, and the words Thermalwasser, Heilwasser, Quelle, Mineral and Sole do not occur on it. The bath combines an indoor hall, an outdoor bath and a sauna world. The indoor pool is given as 16 m long and 7 m wide, 1.20 to 1.60 m deep, with a separate children's area for paddling and a large winter garden with a view of the mountains around Obervellach for resting. A 26 by 14 metre beach volleyball court and an open-air chess board sit on the lawn, which offers both sun and shade under large trees.

The sauna landscape is described as holding a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, a herbal sauna with light effects and infrared cabins, again without a total count of cabins. A screened open-air arena, rest and day rooms in the winter garden, a solarium open during operating hours and an adjoining massage department complete it. The restaurant Michi's Genießerstüberl serves the bath.

The operator's introduction calls the bath an experience summer and winter alike, and the German Wikipedia article on Obervellach lists it among the leisure facilities available year-round, with indoor pool, outdoor pool, sauna and massages; the hours block on the operator's page, however, publishes only the summer 2026 season, so no winter hours can be quoted here. For summer 2026 the outdoor bath opens 2 to 26 June from 12:00 to 18:00 with Monday as a rest day, 27 June to 23 August from 10:00 to 19:00, and 24 August to 6 September again from 12:00 to 18:00; in bad weather the indoor hall is offered instead. The sauna runs 3 June to 6 September on Wednesdays and Sundays from 14:00 to 20:00.

Published admission for the outdoor bath in summer 2026 is 12.00 € a day for adults and 6.00 € for children aged 6 to 15, with a ten-entry card at 81.00 €, a season ticket at 89.00 €, a week at 39.00 €, two weeks at 49.00 € and a short tariff from 17:00 at 7.00 €; children's equivalents are 59.00, 24.00, 34.00 and 4.00 €. A family season ticket with two children is 175.00 € and 135.00 € for a single parent, school groups pay 5.00 €, and the solarium is 9.00 €. Sauna with bath is 19.50 € a day for adults and 13.50 € for children. Entry to the bath is free with the Kärnten Card, and holders of the Nationalpark-Region Hohe Tauern guest card pay 7.00 € and 4.00 €. No opening year is published by the operator or by Wikipedia.
