Drautal perle

The Drautalperle is a combined sports and leisure bath at Spittal an der Drau in Carinthia, which the operator styles Das Sport- & Erlebnisbad in Spittal an der Drau. The database held no city for it; the town is named in the site title on every page. The bath forms part of a wider sports centre whose other venues, listed in the site footer, are an artificial-turf pitch at the Goldeckstation, an ice sports arena, a ball sports hall and a curling hall.

The water is ordinary heated water rather than thermal or mineral water: no spring, source temperature, well depth or mineralisation is published anywhere on the site, and the only brine on the premises is in the sauna cabins. The leisure bath covers 5,600 m2 with water temperatures given as 28 °C to 33 °C. Four pools carry live temperature readings on the site: a Sportbecken, an Erlebnisbecken, a Kinderbecken and an outdoor Freibecken, which at the reading of 11 September 2026, 04:50, stood at 27.7, 32.4, 34.4 and 26.3 °C respectively. The bath also has a swimming channel, a waterfall with a climbing net, a whirlpool and a small-child and children's bathing area. The principal ride is the Black Hole water slide, 60 metres long and fitted with digital timing so that sliders can race the clock.

The sauna world is described in a single sentence on the operator's Saunalandschaft page: a whirlpool and a block sauna with a view over the Spittal meadows and the High Tauern, a steam brine sauna, a herbal sauna and a Finnish sauna, an infrared brine grotto and a classic infrared cabin, with a cold plunge pool and an ice fountain for hardened sauna-goers. No cabin temperatures are published. A women's sauna runs every Tuesday from 17:00, except on public holidays and during school holiday periods; the site also notes a summer break for its guided Aufguss sessions. A Sauna Bar, a quiet room, an Asian Spa massage service and a Panorama Restaurant complete the offer.

The bath is open all year and hours are given separately for bath and sauna, in two seasons. From October to April the swimming bath opens Monday to Friday 08:00 to 21:00 and Saturday, Sunday and public holidays 09:00 to 21:00; from May to September the same weekday hours apply but weekends and holidays close at 20:00. The sauna opens from 12:00 daily, to 21:00 from October to April and to 20:00 at weekends and on holidays from May to September. Last admission is one hour before closing and bathing and sauna use end half an hour before closing. Annual maintenance closes the sport and leisure bath and the sauna from 14 to 26 September, with reopening on Sunday 27 September; the Asian Spa is closed 13 to 27 September and the Panorama Restaurant 14 to 25 September. The operator describes this as its yearly maintenance and servicing work, so it is a routine shutdown rather than an indefinite renovation. The bath is also closed on 24 December and closes at 16:00 on 31 December, and the sports pool and swimming channel are blocked for the Carinthian indoor championships on 20 and 21 February 2027 and the sports pool alone for a Kids Cup round on 24 April 2027. No opening year and no admission prices were found on the pages read.
