Aquapark & Wellness Bohinj

Aquapark & Wellness Bohinj stands at Triglavska cesta 17, 4264 Bohinjska Bistrica, in the Bohinj valley below the Julian Alps. The water is plain heated pool water: the operator makes no claim anywhere of a thermal source, a mineral spring or brine, and the words thermal, mineral and spring do not appear on the pool, sauna or salt-room pages.

The operator describes more than 500 m² of water surface, divided into an entrance area with the salt room, changing rooms, the main swimming area, a smaller pool area for the youngest guests, an outdoor pool area and the wellness area with saunas and massage centre. The pool complex is enumerated as a large recreational pool, two jacuzzis and a pool; no overall total of basins is published, so only the enumeration is given here. Inside the main recreational pool the operator names a music cavern and a love cavern, together with whirlpools, water jets, a wild river and a tropical waterfall. The main pool is 1.35 m deep and the children's pool 0.4 m. Water temperature is given in the operator's running text as 30 °C in the main swimming pool and 34 °C in the children's pool and jacuzzis; the home page carries a separate live display reading slightly higher, which is a changing counter and not quoted here. A panoramic roof lets bathers watch snowfall from the deckchairs in winter, and an outside terrace is used for sunbathing in summer.

Two water slides are reached from inside the heated building and are open every day: a longer, curving family slide and a shorter adrenaline turbo slide. The operator states this is the only swimming complex in the Gorenjska region with slides of this kind.

The sauna park holds ten cabins of four types — Finnish, bio-Finnish, steam and infrared — split between a sauna park on the first floor, a second in the basement and one steam sauna in the wellness centre used for private parties. The operator's own table gives two Finnish, one steam and one infrared cabin upstairs; one Finnish, one steam, two infrared and one bio-Finnish in the basement; and one steam cabin in the wellness centre. Cooling pools and showers serve all sauna areas, and the first-floor sauna park is also equipped for Kneipp treatments. Stated cabin conditions are roughly 85 °C at 20 % humidity for the Finnish sauna, 45 °C at 100 % humidity for the steam sauna, 65 °C at 40 % for the bio-Finnish and 50–60 °C for the infrared. The sauna area is for guests aged 16 and over. Beside the water the complex holds a salt room using Piran salt, a massage and beauty centre, a restaurant and a bowling alley.

Indoor pools and the other amenities are open all year, with the exception of two to three weeks in November for maintenance; the outdoor pools open only in summer. Pools run daily 09:00–21:00 and the sauna daily 12:00–21:00, with a note that these hours change from 21 September 2026. A three-hour pool ticket costs 17.50 € for adults, 13.00 € for children aged 4 to 13.99 and 14.50 € for seniors; a day ticket is 20.40 €, 15.50 € and 16.50 €. Three hours in the sauna cost 24.50 €, pools and sauna together 27.50 €, and a day ticket for both 29.50 €. Monthly, yearly and season tickets are also published.
