Оздоровчий комплекс «Жайворонок»

The «Zhayvoronok» wellness complex in Berehove (Beregovo) is one of Transcarpathia's best-known geothermal bathing destinations, opened in 2003 at the foot of the Zakarpattia hills near the town centre. It is built around naturally hot, mineral-rich water drawn from a deep thermal spring, whose warm brownish water is prized for its therapeutic reputation.

Geothermal water & temperature

The complex is fed by a hot mineral spring; the source water is very hot and is cooled and mixed across the pools, which range from a warm "hot" zone around +50°C down to cooler pools near +27°C. The water is mineralised (containing sodium, potassium, magnesium and calcium) and carries a characteristic hydrogen-sulphide, iodine-brine character.

Thermal pools
