Multi-award-winning thermal bath, sauna and wellness world in Bad Ragaz, fed by the 36.5 °C Tamina Gorge thermal spring, with eight pools across 7,300 m² and a 1,900 m² sauna world.

About

The Tamina Therme in Bad Ragaz is a thermal bath, sauna and wellness world whose history reaches back to 1872, when Europe's first indoor thermal water pool was built here. It draws on the Tamina thermal spring, whose water rises in the Tamina Gorge at a temperature of 36.5 °C. Because of its low mineral content combined with this temperature, the water is classified as a warm spring.

Pools

Eight pools spread across a total of 7,300 m² await visitors, combining indoor and outdoor bathing with a variety of warm and cold water baths equipped with water jet and shower features. Among them, a warm water pool at 39 °C and a cold water pool at 17 °C provide ideal conditions for alternating baths.

Sauna World

The sauna world, high-quality renovated and extended to 1,900 m², features seven saunas inspired by Finnish wellness traditions. Its offering includes the Pirts Ritual, a series of unique Latvian sauna rituals combining music, essential oils, healing water and twigs.

Facilities

The complex includes a café/restaurant on site. It is open Monday to Thursday and at weekends and on holidays from 08:00 to 22:00, and on Fridays from 08:00 to 23:00.
