Baños Árabes de Córdoba

Banos Arabes de Cordoba is a hammam-style bathhouse in the Juderia quarter of Cordoba, a few minutes' walk from the Mezquita-Catedral, built on the site of first-century Roman baths. A visit is a two-hour continuous session, from entry to leaving dressed, moving freely between four heated pools without a set order or guide: a hot pool at 39 degrees, a warm pool at 36 degrees, a cold pool at 16 degrees, and a flotation pool using salt from the Salinas de Aguilar de la Frontera. The session also includes a steam room and a rest area serving tea, with towels, footwear, a locker, gel, shampoo and a hairdryer provided; guests only need to bring swimwear. The pools are mixed-sex. Entry alone costs 32 euros for the full two hours; the same session can be booked together with a relaxing massage, a hot-stone massage, or a kessa exfoliation as add-ons. The hammam operates on opening days from 10:00 to midnight, with entries every half hour and the last entry at 22:00, and it closes for an annual break in July. There is no swimming pool, sauna cabin, or waterslide here; the format is a compact Arab-bath and massage spa rather than a large bathing or wellness complex.
