Termy Poddębice

Termy Poddębice, styled by the operator as the Centrum Wodolecznictwa i Rekreacji, is a geothermal bathing complex at ul. Mickiewicza 19 in Poddębice, in the Łódź region, managed by Geotermia Poddębice Sp. z o.o. The operator states that the thermal water is drawn from a depth of 2101 metres and is 27,000 years old, that its particular merit is a temperature of 72 °C together with an original chemical and microbiological purity, and that it is a bicarbonate-sodium-silica-calcium water, hyperthermal and weakly mineralised. It attributes the silicon compounds in the water with better hydration and cleansing of the skin, and says the temperature improves circulation, relaxes and reduces muscle and joint soreness. Raw thermal water is also used for hydromassage in the treatment offer.

The operator describes the complex as seven outdoor and indoor pools with a combined water surface of about 2300 m2, fitted with geysers, massage jets, artificial-wave grottoes and wild rivers, with pool water at 30-38 °C. Three basins run all year: an indoor-outdoor pool of 412 m2, 1.2 m deep, at 34-36 °C, with air-massage benches and loungers, narrow and broad neck massages, grottoes with wall hydromassage, artificial-wave grottoes, a wild river, geysers and a water umbrella; an indoor paddling pool of 42 m2, 0 to 0.3 m deep, at 34-36 °C, with slides and spouting jets; and a hydromassage tub of 3.6 m2 at 36-38 °C. Four more are seasonal: a swimming and recreation pool of 1012 m2 at 32-34 °C, with three 50-metre swimming lanes, two 8-metre learner lanes, massage benches, wave grottoes, a rushing river, geysers, a net climbing frame and a gentle entry ramp; two children's paddling pools of 296 m2 and 230 m2 at 30-34 °C, with slides, a playground and water toys; and a water-walls pool of 259 m2, 0.1 to 0.13 m deep, at 30-34 °C.

Two sauna zones are provided, containing Finnish saunas with chromotherapy, infrared saunas, steam baths with aromatherapy and a saunarium with aromatherapy, plus a salt chamber with graduation walls used for inhalation. The ground-floor sauna zone is open Monday to Friday 10.00-16.00 and Saturday and Sunday 10.00-22.00, and entry to it is free on weekdays until 16.00; the upper-floor zone, which is textile-free, is open Monday to Friday 16.00-22.00 and at weekends 10.00-22.00, and runs a weekly programme of Aufguss and inhalation sessions from 17.00. A spa zone, a physical-activity zone, an Indian Burger restaurant and the ISON accommodation are on the same site. The complex's own published hours are Monday to Sunday 10.00 to 22.00. The operator publishes water-test results back to 2022 but states no opening year for the baths, and gives no sauna count.
