Aquapark Fala

Aquapark Fala occupies a site on the western edge of Łódź next to the Zdrowie park, and is run by the municipally owned company Aqua Park Łódź Sp. z o.o., which gives its address as “94-208 Łódź, al. Unii Lubelskiej 4”. The water is not geothermal: the operator's pages claim no spring, no well and no thermal source, and the pool water is plain heated water. The mineral element is confined to two purpose-built brine pools in the indoor zone. One is filled with brine made from Ciechocinek salt, which the operator describes as produced “w Zabytkowej Warzelni Soli w Ciechocinku”; the other with salt from the Dead Sea. Both are posted at a water temperature of 35 °C and a salt concentration of 3 %, which the operator labels “stężenie lecznicze”. The Ciechocinek pool is about 90 cm deep, the Dead Sea pool about 95 cm deep and about 20 m² in surface, and each is fitted with 17 seats with water and air massagers. The operator limits time in the brine to 10–12 minutes for children and 10–20 minutes for adults, and sets a combined limit across all brine installations of 12 minutes for children and 20 for adults.

The bathing zone (Strefa Basenowa) is split into an indoor and an outdoor section. The operator's indoor menu enumerates, without giving a total, the year-round MegaZjeżdżalnie, the two brine pools, brine tubs, a jacuzzi, a year-round outflow pool that carries bathers outside, a steam sauna and a Finnish sauna at poolside, a grotto, water massages, indoor sports pools, an indoor recreation pool, water playgrounds themed on an octopus, a shell and a ship, a wave pool, an orange tyre slide and a red slide, a three-lane slide, a children's paddling pool, three jacuzzi tubs and a Kneipp path. Polish Wikipedia's article on the site adds dimensions the operator does not publish: a 60 m kamikaze slide over a 20 m drop, a 19-metre tower carrying slides of about 130 m and 60 m, and four year-round slides of 120, 132, 140 and 144 m, together with wild and calm rivers, a forest beach and volleyball and basketball courts.

The sauna zone is ticketed separately and run as a nude zone. Its own page enumerates infrared saunas, a Finnish sauna with music therapy, a salt Finnish sauna, two large outdoor Finnish saunas, a small outdoor Finnish sauna, a crystal steam sauna, a steam sauna with chromotherapy and an indoor Finnish sauna, but publishes no total cabin count; a snow grotto, a brine graduation tower, a tepidarium, an outdoor cold-water pool, outdoor and large indoor jacuzzis and experience showers belong to the same zone, and sauna masters run scheduled ceremonies. Polish Wikipedia's figure of “osiem różnych saun” describes an earlier state: the same article records that the sauna zone was enlarged by 300 m² from March 2024 and that an outdoor sauna garden of about 1500 m² was begun in spring 2025.

The bathing zone is open daily 9:00–22:00 all year, with early swimming Tuesday to Friday 7:00–8:30 outside holidays; the sauna zone opens 11:00–22:00 Monday to Thursday, 11:00–23:30 Friday, 9:00–23:00 Saturday and 9:00–22:00 on Sundays and holidays. Weekday admission to the bathing zone is 40 zł for one hour, 70 zł for two, 93 zł for three and 164 zł for a day, with reduced rates of 34, 63, 82 and 136 zł; at weekends and on holidays the same tickets cost 43, 73, 99 and 185 zł, reduced 38, 67, 89 and 150 zł. Extra time is sold at 34 zł an hour in the bathing zone and 38 zł an hour or 53 zł for two hours in the sauna zone. On the history of the site the operator and Wikipedia count differently rather than contradict each other: the operator is currently marking “50 lat Fali”, dating the place from the open-air bathing complex that Wikipedia says opened on 19 June 1976 and closed in 1992 because of construction defects, while the present indoor aquapark on the same ground opened on 31 January 2008.
