CASCADE Sport Center

Cascade stands on Industriestrasse in Sand in Taufers (Campo Tures), on the bank of the Ahr in the Tauferer valley in South Tyrol, at 860 m above sea level. The company behind it is CASCADE Sport Center GmbH, but the name is the legal entity's: there is no gym and no climbing hall on the site, and sweeps of the home page, the sauna page, the prices page and the contact page for Kletter, Fitness and Sportbecken returned nothing. The operator's own title line describes the house as 'Schwimmbad | Sauna', and the footer of every page repeats 'CASCADE Schwimmbad & Sauna'. The water is ordinary treated water, not thermal or mineral: no source, borehole, temperature of origin or water analysis appears anywhere on the operator's pages.

The German Wikipedia article on the municipality dates the opening to September 2011 and describes the house as a combination of swimming pool, sauna and wellness landscape. The sauna side is run as a nudist area and is entered only with bathing shoes, a towel and a bathrobe. The operator enumerates its cabins and rooms rather than giving a total: a finnish Sauna Tanne at 85-90 °C of about 40 m2; a Bio-Sauna Zirm at 50-60 °C of about 40 m2; an outdoor finnish Aussensauna Birke at 95 °C of about 55 m2 with a cold plunge basin; a steam bath at 40-50 °C; an infrared cabin in oak at 45 °C of about 20 m2; a Raum der Wärme at 37-40 °C; a Kneipp hall; a drinking hall; and a heated outdoor pool in the nudist area at 33 °C. Infusions are run hourly with essential oils. A panorama quiet room looks out over the Ahr, and further relaxation corners and a sauna bar with snacks and drinks complete the floor. The home page counts the relaxation area at 3,500 m2 with an outdoor section, one steam bath, one tepidarium and one heated outdoor pool. In summer the site also opens a natural bathing pond with a large lawn, a children's play area and a beach volleyball court.

The operator publishes sauna opening hours of Wednesday to Friday 14:30-21:30 and Saturday and Sunday 12:00-21:30, with Monday and Tuesday as rest days. These hours stand on the same pages as a closure notice, and the two are left here as the operator leaves them: a banner on every page reads 'Die Cascade bleibt bis auf Weiteres geschlossen' and, separately, 'Das Schwimmbad bleibt bis auf Weiteres geschlossen'. The Gusto bar and pizzeria on the site are marked as open, Tuesday to Sunday 8:00-22:00 and 17:30-22:00 respectively. No admission prices are published on the operator's own prices page, which carries only the notice; the ITV group's page for the house lists a three-hour sauna entry at 29.00 euro and a sauna day ticket at 35.00 euro, together with annual and six-month subscriptions labelled 2025.
