Thermal Strand és Gyógyfürdő

Thermal Strand és Gyógyfürdő is a thermal beach and medicinal bath at Tiszafüred in Hungary, run alongside the town's thermal campsite.

The water

The venue describes an alkaline hydrogen-carbonate medicinal water and publishes a composition table in which carbonate is the largest component at 708 mg, with sodium at 265 mg, calcium at 14.3 mg and potassium at 3.8 mg. The water holds the Hungarian gyógyvíz designation, an official medicinal certification. According to the venue it is used for musculoskeletal, rheumatic and gynaecological complaints.

Pools

Two outdoor pools are in use: the therapeutic pool at 35-38 °C and the beach pool at 28-32 °C.

Camping

The Tiszafüredi Thermál Kemping operates separately, at Húszöles út 2.

Visiting

In the high season the bath opens from 08:00 to 20:00. In 2026 an adult day ticket is 2,950 Ft, or 2,650 Ft with the town card; family packages run from 6,700 to 10,300 Ft and a weekly adult pass is 16,100 Ft. Parking costs 350 Ft an hour or 1,500 Ft a day. The venue gives a planned opening in April 2026, so the season should be checked before travelling. The bath is at Fürdő utca 2.
