Galerius Fürdő

Galerius Fürdő is an experience and thermal bath in Siófok, on the southern shore of Lake Balaton in Hungary, at Szent László u. 183. It first opened in the summer of 2006, closed in 2021 for a comprehensive renovation, and reopened on 1 April 2026. The complex brings together family experience pools, water slides, a thermal pool fed from a local source, two sauna worlds, a wellness area and several dining venues.

Thermal water

The site's thermal pool is supplied with thermal water from Nagyberény. It has a depth of about 90 cm and is kept at 34–36 °C, and operates year-round. The official site describes the water in terms of its regenerative benefits but does not publish a detailed mineral analysis or list certified medicinal indications.

Pools

Alongside the thermal pool, the bath offers several pools:

• Outdoor experience pool – depth 94–102 cm, kept at 30–32 °C in summer and 34–36 °C in winter, operated seasonally and served by a cocktail bar.
• Indoor experience pool – depth 120 cm at 30–32 °C, open year-round, with bubble seats, neck showers and water jets.
• Teaching pool – depth 90–135 cm at 27–29 °C, open year-round.
• Children's pool – a shallow play pool 30–50 cm deep at 32–34 °C, open year-round.

Slides

The bath has several water slides, including one named the "Anaconda".

Saunas

Two sauna worlds are offered. The Colosseum Sauna World includes a salt cave, an extreme cold-shock shower and an ice dispenser, and hosts regular pouring ceremonies (Aufguss) led by trained sauna masters. The Relaxarium Sauna World offers massage and body treatments as well as a private spa.

Wellness

The wellness area operates year-round with water temperatures between 26 and 34 °C. It features built bubble baths (pezsgőfürdő) at 30–32 °C and, in the Relaxarium, a seated bubble bath at 32–34 °C. Cooling plunge pools are provided for use after sauna sessions – a 28–30 °C immersion pool and a 26–28 °C bubble pool in the Colosseum sauna area. Massage and private spa services are offered separately.

Families and dining

A children's play area named Lupetto is provided for younger visitors. Dining venues at the complex include Bistro La Bocca, the Frizzante Terazza, the Colosseum Sauna Bar, and a planned outdoor snack bar and entrance café.

Visiting

The bath is open daily from 9:00 to 21:00. Guests are asked to leave the pools 40 minutes before closing and the wellness and sauna areas 30 minutes before closing.
